Sofax Fluorspar Kenya Ltd received its first consignment of heavy mining equipment at the Kimwarer site in Kerio Valley, marking a critical milestone in the transition from planning to active operations.
The equipment — including excavators and graders — will support the initial phase of open-pit mining across the 9,000-acre concession area, accelerating the path to the 120,000-ton annual production target.
