At Sofax Fluorspar, we follow a comprehensive, three-step process to provide top-quality fluorspar products to global industries:
Step 1
Mining and Extraction
Our process begins with detailed exploration and planning to locate rich fluorspar deposits. Using advanced extraction methods, we mine the fluorspar efficiently and sustainably, ensuring minimal environmental impact while securing a consistent supply for our clients.
Step 2
Milling and Value Addition
After extraction, the fluorspar is milled, which involves crushing, sorting, and refining the raw material to meet industry-specific requirements. This value-added process ensures the high purity and quality of fluorspar for a range of applications, including steel and aluminum production, as well as chemical manufacturing.
Step 3
Integrated Marketing
Sofax does have customers of the acidspar grade in Europe, Asia, Americas and Africa. The acidspar is transported from mill to market with truck haulage to Kaptagat rail marshalling yard, loaded into Rail Wagons to bulk vessel carrier loading berth at Mbaraki Wharf in Mombasa.
